Here's to American workers

I'm perpetually fascinated by the people I encounter pursuing different occupations

Wednesday was one of those crazy, packed mornings. First, a dentist's appointment. When I arrived home from that, the pool man was here to fix a leak in the filter. After he left, rhw plumber arrived to check on the sewer pump.

All turned out well. The dental technician - a young mother of two boys -  the friendly pool man and affable plumber - both named Neil - carried out their work with cool professionalism.

While politicians bluster, American workers like them carry out their duties each day, keeping the country going.
