On Sunday afternoon, I realized that I would be watching or listening to the Braves in a normal springtime.
I haven't missed sports that much during the coronavirus shutdown. But the Braves have been a Sunday ritual for years. All of a sudden, I longed for a Ronald Acuna home run, a Mike Soroka strikeout, a Dansby Swanson-Ozzie Albies-Freddie Freeman double play.
Chip Caray's voice echoed in my mind. I imagined Don Sutton on the radio.
But there was no baseball.
